Alhaj Nisar Ahmad Faizi Ghoryani, the son of the late Haji Faiz Mohammad Ghoryani, was born in 1965 in Gozar Nazari related to the fifth district of Herat city in a religious family.

He started his primary education by learning the Holy Quran and the basics of religious sciences and became acquainted with the recitation of this pure divine book.

In 1974, in order to learn the lessons of the school course, he attended in Moafaq school of Herat and successfully completed the elementary school, in this school and the high school course in Bakhtar high school of Mazar-e-Sharif.

He received his bachelor’s degree in administration and diplomacy this year, despite many duties and responsibilities.

From his young age, he worked with his brothers in the field of commerce and export of products abroad and in 2004, he established a private company in the field of commerce and distributing the electricity in Herat city and after that he could do the best services especially in the field of commerce, domestic products and power supply in Herat province and after that to neighboring provinces and even in the capital. His experience in trade and his enthusiasm for the growth and development of industry in the private sector led him to establish several private companies in the field of electrical products, exports, imports, construction and hotel management.

 

His experience in the field of electricity and supply led him to work for a while as a consultant in the Electricity Department of Herat province.

In the 16th term of the Afghan Parliament, he participated as an independent candidate from Herat province, who was able to enter the Wolesi Jirga of Afghanistan as the elected lawyer of the people of Herat and defend the rights of his compatriots.

He served for some time as chairman and also a member of the country’s defense and territorial integrity commission in parliament.

In 2019, he was elected as an advisor to the Office of the Executive Director of the country and made significant progress in this regard and added to his bag of political and legal business experiences.

Alhaj Nisar Ahmad Faizi Ghoryani is married and has three children (a son and two daughters) who are educated and committed. He is fluent in national languages ​​(Dari and Pashto) and English language.

He has been nominated as the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with the right and worthy trust of Dr. Sahib Abdullah Abdullah and the presidential decrees of His Excellency Dr. Sahib Ashraf Ghani.
